This is the only place in Denver that really impresses me with their Mexican food on a consistent basis. Great sauces, great dishes, and the tortillas are excellent. I could eat a meal of only their freshly made tortillas. The queso sauce and the tomatillo sauce are great as well.
I keep coming back to Hacienda Colorado for the hot pork green chile! Best I have had in Denver! The combination plates will feed the biggest appetites. There is a wait most of the time, but busy restaurants are the usually the best! Margaritas are awesome with their HUGE assortment of tequilas.
Hacienda Colorado is really the place to be if you are tired of eating your Mexican food in a cantina. The atmosphere is upscale and modern, without the sombreros, serapis and mariachi music. The food is exceptional and VERY resonably priced. Most entrees are right around $10.
They offer 120 tequilas as well, so they are able to make over 600 different margaritas.
Try it out!
