Romanos Italian Restaurant
We thank you for giving our family the opportunity to serve your family. We honor the standards of dedication and hard work set by our family who settled in America in the early 1900s. We salute those fearless young Italians who boarded a boat and came to a new land, seeking La Dolce Vita.Nearly 100 years later, we are their legacy. We are proud to serve Littleton families with the same dedication that our grandfather Giovanni had to his push cart on the streets of New York City. We value the hard work of each of our employees who craft your meal and deliver it to your table. We insist on attention to detail and the highest quality ingredients-- values Neil learned from his mother in her Manhattan kitchen. Just as our family bonds run deep, so do our roots here in Littleton. Neil and Ellie opened Romanoac2s on Windermere Street in 1967.Generations of Littleton families have shared a meal and conversation right in this very place. Raise your glass with us and toast to: La Dolce Vita -- The Sweet Life that we have found here. Salute! And Mange, Mange!
This was my first time at Romano's. I found them by searching italian rest in littleton and they cam up, i read a few reviews and they seemed like a good place that has been around for a long time so we decided to go there. I have to say that everyone was friendly and the service was good. The food amount was good and taste was good as well. But something happened wheni got home. Explosive Diarrhea. Seriously, i have never had that happen after a meal before. I have not been sick and this is not normal behavior for me. I'm not sure if maybe one of the women in the kitchen was a bitter ex or someone in the kitchen just didnt like the way i looked or what but it didnt seem like a normal upset stomach from food my stomach didnt agree with.. But seemed more like someone must have put something in my food cause it was so intense and quick once i got home. I got the shrimp alfredo and my girlfriend got the chicken alfredo. She had no problems at all but i was in the bathroom within an hour of getting home. This is why i think maybe i was sabotaged for some reason. I wont be going back there, too bad cause i kinda liked the place but not worth the aftermath.
This place is a treasure! No fru-fru here, just delicious food! Romano's is a family-oriented place with take-out in the front and seating in the back. The menu is mostly pasta, but we all need the carbs from time-to-time. The ravioli is great, as well as the lasagna, all homemade. Save room for a fantastic canole. It's best to get there early, as the seating fills up fast and you mostly have to park on the street.
I have frequented this restaurant in every capacity from banquet, to take out to, office party, to feeding out of town Italians for nearly 15 years. I most often order take out pizza. my favorite is the eggplant topping. It's so thin and lightly battered. Their meatballs, sausage, antipaste are also highly recommended. as expected their eggplant parmesan is the best, better then my grandmother's. Sorry Grandma.
No matter when you arrive it's always packed, no one seems to mind, it's worth the wait. The wait staff is prompt, friendly and offer tasty suggestions.
I have celebrated many a family get together, and entertained friends and family often. Everyone raves about the food and wants to return. You will too.
