Our mission for over 50 years has been (and will be for 50 years to come) to provide our customers with outstanding service and food. Unlike our competitors, we promise to never downgrade and/or downside our product because we know are in this economic crisis TOGETHER!!! Our beef is fresh NEVER frozen, and always local. Here at Jim's, EVERYTHING is cooked/made to order and we DONT OWN STEAM TRAYS!!! These and many other reasons are why you will find us to be vastly different then any other fast-food restaurant. But don't take our word for it, come in and see, smell, and taste one of our 6" burgers for yourself.
I've dug the burgers here for a number of years.
My most recent visit was a bit disappointing. I arrived on the off hour so there was only one guy in front of me. I got my order in after waiting for this guy to make up his mind on apparently every menu item, not a problem of the staff per se...but why am I always behind that guy?
Anyhow, it takes 15 seconds for me to get my order in, simple order of a double burger and a water.
The order prep is way slow, it takes the guy in front of me at least 5 minutes to get his order. Now this isn't fast food, they make it after you order, so that isn't terrible...but why my order isn't on the grill at the same time is a real mystery...
So eight more minutes go by while I wait for my order..which arrives with mustard, even tho I specifically requested a hold on that...at least it gives me ample time to go wash my hands. At that point two people who ordered behind me had already gotten their food, apparently their stuff hit the grill at the same time as mine, even tho they arrive 5 minutes later?!
That's one thing that really irritates me, when people behind me in line get served first - way too common a problem everywhere these days.
Note to staff - when that happens -- make sure to offer me something to make up for it, not just a lame apology.
That said, the burger was good when I got it, so I'll be back someday, I guess I'll just have to make sure I verify my simple request of how my burger should be.
I thought that the cashier was one of the most friendlyest people that I have ever met although the manager was the most unprofessional and rude person that I have ever come across I saw her Yell at the cashier 3 times in front of customers for no apparent reason 1 was because she had told her HI. Which she was so friendly. 2 was because her register tape got stuck in the register and she went off about how she thought she had trained her better. Mind you the cashier smiled and let it go. Than the third time when she was sweeping the dining area and two gentlemen walked in the door not even ready to order and this is how I know the cashiers name when she yelled out TIFFANY! you have customers! RUDE RUDE the men were not even ready to order I will return to the restuarant But I wont with athourity personal that believe they are better than their associates sorry.Agsin Tiffany was one of the most happiest people I have ever come across for the abuse that she took.
