FOUND A HAIR IN OUR FOOD. Been going to this place for 20 years. Called to talk to the owner CHING after calling me a liar was very rude and defensive and the hung up me me. Very disappointed because the food but good but they don t value the practice of doing good business.
The service used to be great at this place. Don t know if it is under new management but the customer service is TERRIBLE! They treat people like they are an inconvenience. Only go like once a year now when we get a craving for this place but used to go like twice a month. Plus they charge 1.00 for chile oil. No other chinese restaurant charges for a condiment like that. So rude.
Used to adore this place, but no more. Just found out that they now charge 80 cents if you request hot chili oil (a condiment). With take-out that amounts to a spoonful in a small plastic container. That's like Denny's charging you for the catsup you request for your burger. Absurd!
We used to a frequent visitor here but today we were insulted by the owner like I have never been insulted in a resturant before. The waiter brought rasberry ice tea instead of the diet Coke she was drinking. She put lemon in it not knowing it wasnt diet Coke. When she asked the woner fror the correct drink he told her he always had problems whith her.
We will never be back!
This is our standby dinner choice. If we can't decide or agree, we go to East Cafe. Everyone in my family loves it! They have amazing food, good prices and friendly service. They also do to-go orders so we can call then go pick up dinner if we want to eat at home (it also helps that they're down the street from our house!). 5 stars!!
Tried this restaurant for the first time last night. Was very impressed by their chicken and broccoli (my all time fav) as well as their egg drop soup (not usually a fan) Went there for dinner but was surprised that they were serving lunch on a Sunday, the food was good and cheap for what you got. The 2 of us ate for under $20 which is definitely rare these days. I will definitely be going back to try more of their food.
