Chico's Tacos, El Paso

I'd like to open a food trailer in Austin, Tx serving most if not all the Chicos menu. Any suggestions?

YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT...literally. Put poison in your body and it's released from your pores. Next time you find yourself at Chicos just observe the greasy and pimple infected faces and arms of it's overweight regulars. I visited Chicos and ate one order and broke out the next morning. What more can you expect from their secret ingredients: Expired tomatoes, Expired tortilla bread, artificial beef, artificial cheese and not to mention bacterea. Only in El Paso would this ever be called a "tradition".

Look, Chico's is not about fine dining. Chico's is a cult food place. Every city has one or two. Places where people like to go. They make a very unique type of food... Chico's Tacos. They are very good as is evident from the difficulty in finding a parking space at any of their locations. They are essentially taquitos in a watery tomato based liquid with lots of cheese on top. There is only one way to eat them. Let them soak so the cheese gets soft. Then apply a liberal amount of Chico's green sauce (without it, they just don't taste like Chico's Tacos). Enjoy. My wife and I liked them so much we rode out motorcycles from Spokane, Wa to El Paso and the first thing we did was go to Chico's. Like White Castle Hamburgers in the Mid West, Chico's is THE cult food of El Paso. (And, come on people.... knock of the gay comments. This is a food review)

The worst place I've been to in El Paso! You've got to be kidding me with this place people! 2 cold taquitos in a paper bowl filled with tomato soup and cold cheddar cheese on top. YUK! I love taquitos...but this place was a disappointment. Especially after everyone was telling us we just HAD to check them out. I just don't get it. AND they won't give you your money back if you are not satisfied with your order. They are so full of themselves they don't think they have to worry about customer service. I know because the lady at the counter told me so. LOL, I just have to laugh when I think about this place. Look, don't take my word for it...Go ahead, find out for yourself about the cold taquito tomato soup. Then come back and laugh with me. LOL

Chicos Tacos is a must whenever visiting El Paso The first thing we do when we drive in to El Paso is stop at Chico's and eat! Two Singles Fries and Coke And your good to go!

Chico's Tacos is an awesome place to get great, cheap tacos. I haven't found another place like it. If I still lived in the area, I would go there every week. When I was in college, my friends and I would drive an hour to get there. It was definitely worth it. I miss Chico's ~ if you have a chance to go, do yourself a favor and go.

They have recently begun bannng gays from their restaurants, calling the cops on them, calling them fags, etc. Avoid this horrid, hateful place, there are plenty of other choices. If you are a true American, you would not want to be associated with this dump.

CHiCOS TACOS iS THE BEST! i WENT FOR THE FiRST TiME THiS FEB. OF 09! i SAW THEM AT FiRST && SAiD UMMM EWW. BUT i TASTED THEM! && OMG! THEY WERE BOMB! PEOPLE TALK ABOUT iTS NASTY iTS NOT CLEAN. Whoever wrote the previous review clearly did not understand the point or essence of what chicos tacos is. Its an institution of el paso. It is meant to be cheap and greasy. It is actually not watered down either! It's a tomato based broth.
