I keep forgetting about how poor the service is at this NE location on Transmountain, and stupid me RETURNS there. Last time I ate there, the waitress brought out my food like half an hour before she brought my friend s plate. What? Were we supposed to eat separately? What got me upset was that the waitress never came to refill my drink nor explain why my friend s plate was arriving so late. Then we get the manager, and he is so rude -- he says, Well, might as well just eat it now, it s right in front of you. My friend was so upset that she lost her appetite. I think I have had like 4 bad experiences there in a row, and now for sure, I am NOT returning.
I took my children for a early dinner to celebrate my son and daughters birthday on 2/27/11..worst service ever it took 20 minutes for the young lady to take our drink order another 15 to actually get the drinks. After a hour and 10 minutes still no food so I spoke with the manager on duty, she was dismisive and not interested in being helpfull all she said was that it will be right out and thats the last we saw of her. after several minutes (15) we got our food, I had requested for them to sing for my children since it was there birthdays.. never happend not until we had already paid the bill and about to go when they came out. I was very disapointed. While we where walking out the waitress advised us they had trouble with the friers, and all the orders where backed up. I actually called the general manager (George) this morning just to find out there had been no friers down and that he will call me back later today after he talks to the manager from last night. I dont know if I will be going back there anymore I guess it depends if George actually takes the time to callme back.
I am tired of complaining about the service at this location. I was trained by the corperate trainers when the opened the red road location back in 2003. The owner of this franchise cares nothing about his employees and like to hire stupid young girls that are not there to work. Everytime I come into this northeast location My order mysteriously takes almost 2 hours and this last time the server Kristin kept telling us its steak and it takes a long long time to cook. This was also after it took her 10 minutes to get our drink order, failed to get us lemons for our teas and then she argues with another server to take our chips and salsa to another table (which got seated after us) it then took 15 minutes to get our chips and salsa. She then proceeded to flirt with the guy that had already paid his bill in the next booth while giving us dirty looks when we tried to get her attention for the lemons we asked for. Another server had to get her to do her side work as the bar ran out of glasses. She had salad all over her hands and then proceeded to act flirty and rubbed her manager (Josh's short hair) GROSS!!!) Everyone in our section had left and we were still waiting for our order. After waiting 45 minutes on a dead day and no manager to check up on why the order was not out was enough for me to say forget these kids and I walked out. Corperate standards were totally violated and the owner should lose the right to have the Applebees's name. I wonder what excuse Kristin must have told her manager to void the ticket. The order should have been in red for a long time on the screen as that is what happens when the orders take 10 minutes. (yes I understand it can take a few mintes longer at times but 45 minutes!!!!!)
I took my wife and my kids in for dinner last tuesday and the waitress must have just gotten a boob job since they were hanging half way out of her shirt. I couldn't help it when I accidently said I wanted something light to nipple on instead of nibble. Anyway, she would be great to serve cocktails at the Zebra lounge but not sure if she was qualified to serve food in what is supposed to be a family restaurant.
been to this restuarant twice...and both time the service was the worse...trust me as close as this is to my home i will enver return.... the lst time we went my kid never even got her roder til we were ready to leave and then it was messed up.....
This Applebee's is only about 5 minutes from our house, but we gladly drive 15 minutes just to go to the one on Airway. One time we went there, and we got seated fine, and the waiter came promptly and took our order. About 30 minutes later he comes by and says that there is a problem in the kitchen (despite the fact everyone else around us was getting their food on time). So then we finally get our food. I don't believe the waiter really came by our table. Maybe about 2-3 times in the entire 1.5 hours we were there. Then he almost charged us for the wrong thing. It was just bad.
We should have run off when we got to the table and found $1.01 on the table. But we decided to stay. And I'm usually a good tipper, but this time I had to agree with the person who was at the table before us and just left $1.01. :/
I've been treated bad there every time i went. Waiters are slow and rude and don't seem to understand instructions on how i want my food. I usually get the Nachos Nuevos but ask them to substitute the queso for shredded cheese. That never seem to be a problem at the Applebee's on Airway but my order gets screwed up there everytime and then they try to blame it on me. I will NEVER go there again. I dont recommend this restaurant at all. DONT GO THERE. We didnt receive our food at the same time. By the time I was always finished my friend finally received her meal. We were missing half of our good and never got any refills on our drinks. The food didnt taste good. This restaurant just blows in general
This is another place where the wait staff seems nice enough but whether or not anyone is supervising is questionable. We have eaten here many times and the quality of the food as well as the service is inconsistent.
