I LOVE it there! Wonton soup is amazing, as well as the shrimp with lobster sauce. Just make sure you don't miss the driveway. You have to be on William Cannon heading up to Manchaca, and it's just before the gas station on the corner.
I would tell you how the food was, but i never got a chance to try it. I ordered some sweet and sour chicken and shrimp fried rice and asked for it to be delivered. I was very excited to have some delicious chinese food, as i dont eat out that often. Then, i received several phone calls from the rude man whom i assume was supposed to be delivering my food asking for my address repeatedly-which i had already given twice- and telling me to give him directions. And after i explained to him that i was new to the area and did not know, he just hung up on me. the 3rd time he called i cancelled the order because i was getting no where, and it was becoming evident that i would never receive my food, i did not even get an apology for having to wait for an hour only to end up getting terrible service and no food. i would give this zero stars if i could.
they are some damn liars dont belive the hype they so dont stay open till 12:00 thats a big fat lie!!! if yall know of a spot that at least stays open till that time let a playa know !!!!!!! but the food is good tho i can honestly say that....lol ;p
I used to not eat chinese food until I went to Hunan's. Now it's the only chinese food I eat and I love it! You can't go wrong with anything you order. The favorite amongst myself and friends is the Sesame Chicken. I also enjoy the Orange Chicken, Moo Shu Pork, and Chicken and Broccoli. The portions are huge so either go with an appetite or you could even spilt the lunch portion between two people and still have some for leftovers. The price is great for the quality and quantity and the staff are funny and kind.
This is my favorite restaurant for asian food. I'm half korean so I know what certain dishes should taste like and this place is a winner!! I've been eating at this restaurant for the last 8 yrs and still love it. The only complaint I have is that they don't have fountain drinks so you have to pay $1 for every can of soda they give you which I think should be changed considering other area restaurants are giving free refills and only charging between $1 - $1.50.... Other than that I recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves authentic korean/chinese dishes..
