Cypress Creek Cafe, Wimberley

Dont know when you all go but we have had GREAT experiences there since the new ownership and restoration! ITs just really nice to be able to get a bite to eat and/ a drink past 8:30 pm! Owner is super friendly and very accommodating!

While they may have the best food on the square, the worst value (therefore prices) and by far the worst service makes it well, not bad, not terrible, but well, worthless. Had an awesome pasta, would have been much better if it hadn't come out with my salad and appetizer. The 75$ bottle of wine was an excellent selection, until Michelle our server asked, no, told me, I needed to pour for my wife, mother, and grandmother...? Because her ignoring the other tables took time. I'm just glad I can post mobile comments, I wouldn't have sat there long enough for this...

I had dinner and drinks a few days ago and had a wonderful experience. The food was great and the service was prompt! I will be back!

The old CCC was good. It is now under new management. While the chef is (usually) good, the management is HORRIBLE!!! We were accosted & threatened in the parking lot by drunk patrons and when we told the owner, we were told 'there was nothing he could do'. My friend was intimidated again on the dance floor by the same group and again we were told that they didn't see it and there was nothing they could do even though I saw it and complained to the wait staff WHILE it was happening. After that WE were asked to leave! Our sweet waitress was at a loss b/c we hadn't been a problem all night. The owner even suggested that some out-of-towners have (get-a-way) homes here. He supports tourists more than full-time residents! His business will fail! Staff will leave if they do not respect the people they work for. Tourists alone can not sustain a business here. I can't help but think the people writing positive reviews must work there.

The Cypress Creek Cafe is alive and well. It is under new ownership. The food is great and the dessert menu is lovely too. Try the bread pudding. The website is now updated and the menu current...

Sorry folks, Cypress Creek Cafe has closed and is for sale. The back bar and music venue remain open Friday and Saturday nights.

Great food...most of the time...it depends on who's cooking, so only 4 stars. I love the homestyle fried steak and the specials are always good.
