The burgers can be good at time here and beer is cold. But expect it to be loud and smokey with college kids.

The Tap Room rocks!!! I saw your list of Top Burger Joints in the country and I would challenge any of those places against a Mushroom Swiss Burger from the Tap Room!! Muy delicioso!

Horrible horrible customer service, very rude waitress by the name of jeni. I and my friends will never go there again and would advise other people to take their business somewhere they are appreciated.

Awesome restaurant and bar. The burgers, fries and wings are all fantastic. Many consider it to be the best burger in San Marcos. Beer selection can't be beat. I highly recommend checking the Tap Room out. It does get crowded so go before the happy hour crowd if you want a table.

The Tap Room

A variety of beers from around the world makes this place a whole lot of fun! This is a bar like atmosphere so you'll have to get past the thick cigarette smoke. And, just try getting a table. The place is too small for the crowd that it draws. However, The Tap Room has great pub-food.

32 beers on tap says it all. Yeah they have budweiser too but who wants that when you can get the finest import for the same price. Good burgers and a nice appetizer selection

cheers to what a bar should be

the owner of this establishment is there five or six days a week. he chats with the bar front crowd and has even been spotted playing mad libs with a few of them. there are cards on the celing and a wall of drafts available. the home made salsa has a kick with out being too hot to handle. everything on the menu is fresh and tasty to the last bite. the atmosphere is that of a local sports bar, tv's galore, but the ambiance is hometown kind of friendly. the doors open at three and the games begin.
