Founded in 1972, Old Pecan Street Cafe serves local and out-of-town guests in Austin in Texas. The cafe manages an on-site bakery that offers cakes, pies and desserts. It serves a selection of sandwiches, beverages, entrees, steaks, and seafood and pasta dishes, as well as offers dinner and brunch solutions. Old Pecan Street Cafe also provides catering services for business meetings, wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners. The cafe manages the Copper Tank Events Center, which can accommodate up to 850 people. In addition, it serves grilled salmon, shrimp cocktail, and tenderloin, Greek and chef s salads. Old Pecan Street Cafe accepts on-call reservations.

Wonderful cakes! Got my wedding and my 10 year anniversary cake from Old Oecan Street. A wonderful group of people!

all the food from this place is obviously frozen and not fresh. sysco delevered alot of their food right in front of me, and bumped my table twice. the service was ok, but you could tell the staff wasnt to happy with their wicked witch looking manager, who was barking orders at them, but not lifting a finger to help out on a busy lunch shift.really distracting! the food was ok but waaaaay over priced! almost 7 dollars for a peice of pie! not to mention the place smelled of rat piss. im not comming back!

Mr. Woody, owner Pecan Street is the worst.

Eating there may be fine, but don't ever try a private event with Pecan Street, Mr. Woody. He was obnoxous, rude, condecending and left me holding the bag two days in advance of a 300 plus party where I needed a cash bar. He is difficult to reach and has his guys who answer the phone, screen and then deliver the bad messages, like sorry, can't do it afterall a few days before the event. He calls himself the mayor of Sixth street and will proudly tell you how many properties he owns down there. Not one caterer or sixth street owner that I have now talked to about this was surprised. They all knew his reputation for such behavior. Stay away.

fantastic and good people loved the atmosphere and good wine.All my family really love the good food as well. Most friends of mine have great fun there. Family oriented and relaxed.
