Description

The Moonshine Grill sits in the oldest building in Austin and the decor tastefully reflects the same. The sweeping arches and exquisite mirrors on the brick and stone walls, not to mention the warm fire place all make for a cozy setting. The starters everyones raves about are the 'Corn Dog' Shrimp (skewered shrimp in cornmeal batter, served with honey and blueberry mustard). The choice entrees are the broiled rainbow trout and Texas flat iron steak. Behind the main restaurant is a refurbished carriage converted into a bar, making the the Moonshine Grill an ideal setting, no matter what the occasion.

The brunch is to die for. You'll wait a while, but you can get mimosas and bloody marys in the meantime! Regular menu is also good, but Sunday brunch just can't be beat. Wonderful atmosphere as well.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. Great food, love to sit outside on their patio and enjoy their fabulous desserts. The red velvet cake and the bread pudding are to die for.

Very impressed with the Sunday brunch buffet! Great food and you get to try anything you want! A little pricey for some, but worth it if you want something unique and special. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Interesting, unique, essence of Austin restaurant. A bit of everything with a slight Tex-mex influence only given away by the green chilis in the macaroni and blue corn chips.

Tasty Southern food. The skillet apple pie is delicious. Small but cosy.

Very good "homestyle" comfort food in a tasteful relaxed atmosphere.
