I have been going to Gino s for almost 5 years. I really like their food and we have always had a good experience....until Friday! The manager s son is very rude...when he brought my soup which was supposed to be lentil (it wasn t it was minestron) I asked him if this was lentil soup and he proceded to answer I don t know I don t eat that stuff ... he then proceeded to talk back to me when I asked him if he knew the menu....when I complained to the manager she stated that she did not know what was going on but that was her son and he has never been rude to anyone. Obviously she hasn t read the review!

We decided to go to Gino's for a nice Saturday lunch but unfortunately there was nothing nice about it. The lady that seated us gave the impression she was annoyed we even walked through the doors. Just after we were seated she started screaming at an employee that apparently came to work late. Not too many expletives but this tantrum lasted a long time. I ordered the combination plate and my wife ordered torttelini with alfredo sauce. The food was pretty tasty but it came to us just thrown on the plate. The manicotti was smashed under the chicken parm and the meat in the lasagna was only on one side. To top it off we had to listen to this same woman that was annoyed we were even there, this woman that screams at her staff, sit down near us with who I guess was a friend and loudly discuss a teenager that recieved a brain injury, a husband that died of cancer, a child that lost their legs and that's just what I remember. Yes, all the things you want to hear while you're eating. When I mentioned this behavior twice to the waitress, that truly seemed bothered, the management didn't even have enough character to visit our table. Why would I want to visit a restaurant of angry and rude people? And it's too bad, we've eaten there many times and while the staff wasn't great they weren't rude either and the food was better. I guess we were just lucky until now. Won't be back after this.

Sorry to come back so soon but just couldn't help it. Had dinner last night there and the food was beyond fantastic. I had a simply pepperoni pizza and my wife had shrimp prima vera. Both dishes were fantastic, the oil bread dip is just great, and the tomato dressing for the salad was, again, delicious. The ambiance is romantic, the service is personalized, and, last night, there was a live performance from a classical guitarist. Much better than average, although average around the place is great. You gotta try it out. You'll be hooked like me.

My first visit, won't be my last. Food was great and large portions. Service was very good. Hubby said it was the best meat sauce he has had in a long time. Can't wait to go back.

I love GINOS!!! Starting off with their famous garlic/oil sauce alongside their fresh baked bread. They have a wonderful homemade Italian dishes. Great Pizza, pastas, salads (with sundried tomatoe dressing) and a fine selection of wines. If you have room after all that dessert(cheesecake) and coffee. Plus the business is family owned and operated. If you haven't given them a try, I recommend trying it out earlier in the week. They are very busy on weekends.
