Old German Bakery & Restaurant, Fredericksburg

We are from Pennsylvania. Our 1st trip to this restaurant was a delight. The food is wonderful and plentiful. The prices are very reasonable. We returned 6 years later and we wanted to try other restaurants in the area but we could not resist returning to the "Old German Bakery & Restaurant. We loved it just a much as the first time. Old German Bakery has the best cream puff pastries. They also have the best German good around. Their sauerkraut and sausage is also very good. I would highly recommend.

Went with 2 other couples on 5 July 2oo8. First time for our friends. Every one was impressed. Wonderful, authentic German food, reasonably priced, fast efficient service. Rouladen, Schnitzels, Brats. Everything was perfect. Our favorite in Fredricksburg.

Delightful place to eat...Get there early though! Busy busy...Very authetic pastries and you'll love the Spätzle. Not bad prices either. Quick, casual, and plentiful. .
