Palm Street Pier
By Leighanne, 3/24/13
Where to begin. It took 20 minutes for someone to take our drink orders. 10 minutes for them to come back...with the wrong drinks. A different waitress brought back the right drinks. Another 20 minutes for us to flag down a different waitress to take our dinner order. And that only after we talked to the owner. We watched all the people around us get drinks and food. They left. New people came. They got drinks and food. We still had our original drinks. Finally our dinners came. It said they came with salad. No salad. The menu said they got the shrimp themselves. I hope not. Those tiny little overcooked things made Red Lobster look like a 5 star restaurant. The blackened mahi mahi was so salty it was almost inedible and the poh boy. Poor me for having to try and choke it down. The owner stopped by and exclaimed about how good the food was....especially the cheese quesadillas ... gee...how wonderful they can put some cheese between tortillas and fry it up. Yum. The fries were good. Everything else including the tequilla was awful. DO NOT GO HERE. The owner couldn t have cared less that we had a terrible experience.

Fabulous view of the bay! Great food for the price! I had the best fried shrimp here and my husband had the Capt Morgan shrimp which was also very good! Very nice waitstaff.

Best food on the island. Service is great. Nachos and burgers are the best you will ever eat. We went for Spring Break, and enjoyed this place the best. And for Mexican Food go to Los Cabos in Port Isabel.

Went for the Sunday night jam session and had a great meal as well. Palm Street has both a busy and fun bar area and a nice dining pier for a quieter, more intimate experience. The food was terrific, and the music was great. A great place to kick back with the locals and have a nice time. As noted by others, the service wasn't fast-food speedy, but it was reasonable, and this probably isn' tthe place to go if you're in a hurry anyway.

Great Burgers and cheap drinks. Good local live music and open mic nights.
