is this the place that has mariachis?? does anyone know. i seen a commercial but not sure...

All around great mexican food. Mexican Restaurants are a dime a dozen around here. But this place is by far the best. They even have homemade flour tortillas--seriously you wont be disapointed!!

I Like this place, I think is the # 1 here in south Texas, specially the breakfast buffet, I like almost everything but nopales and fresh corn tortillas is my first choice, its hard to find places that serve nopales here in the valley,definitely this is my favorite Mexican Restaurant

I never knew how real mexican food tasted like until I ate here. Great food, going to eat there again soon. P.S. The cute cashier is a plus :D

Poncho's is the best mexican food ever. I am from Texas, so I know good mexican food. I now live in Valdosta Ga. And let me tell you, the mexican restaurants here have no clue as how to make good mexican food. When I get to go to Texas for a visit, I make a point of going to Poncho's several times before I leave. Unfortunately I have not been able to go back for about 4-5 years now. I so wish we had a Poncho's here in Valdosta Ga. They would close the other places down in a heart beat, once people find out what they have been missing. If Poncho's ever builds here I will be the first customer in the place. If there was more stars They would be 100% in taste, service, and friendliness. If anyone out there has never been to Ponch's, you need to make a point of going if you get the chance. I miss it so much.

yes that's but kind of expensive. The food is worth it. My husband and i liked it

i love ponchos mexican grill! mmmm....those yummy bacon quesdilla's melt in my mouth! there sooo good. :)

I have been there 5 times and only once did I receive good service. The last time I went we walked out before eating because our server was more concern with the big party table of drunk people and his tip than our table. We waited 23 min. before we left(yes i took time, because of the previous 4 stops) all we did was look at the menu for all this time and then finish our drinks which in the end we got free. Servers here will treat you and serve you good if they think you will be leaving a good tip. They will judge you before you sit. I never went there again. Months later I told a friend about this, and she agreed 100%. The same thing happened to her, but she said she waited more than 23 min. looking at the menu before having a bad, bad service.. Not recomended at all. unless you show up with $100 in the hand. The food is good, the service is Way Bad.

A hip, cool environment coupled with unique great tasting food has Poncho's Restuarant quickly becoming one of my all-time favs!
