one of the worst meals I have ever had. The chile relleno was soggy and swimming in grease, the tacos and the enchiladas were not any better and it all seemed to have been heated in the microwave. I will never go there again.
I LOVE Antonio's. I don't live in Brownsville anymore but everytime I visit I HAVE to go there. The enchiladas are the best and I can't have enough of the chips and salsa. They also have home made flour tortillas and fresh limeade! LOVE IT!
I live and breath for Antonio's chips and Salsa!! and they have really good enchiladas ... Its more like Tex Mex food but who cares its GREAT!!! If you go between 12 and 2PM they have a buffet! in a town where Mexican food is availiable on every corner Antonios is my favorite place to eat!!!
I have been a regular at Antonio's since I was a child because I am forced to eat there with family members, the food is not authentic mexican and everytime I visit the prices seem to always increase eventhough the quality or quantity of food does not.
The closing time is rather early (8pm), even for a Sunday evening. The Fahitas weren't good at all, but the tacos were nice. The kids meal is pretty sumptuous. Frozen margarita and fresh lemonade were refreshing. Ambience is nice for casual dining & for families. We went there because of the great reviews. Would rate it a good, considering everything.
Antonio's is the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. 5-Star rating in our book. Very tasty, very reasonable, very clean, and the service was superb! Will defintely go back to Antonio's when in Brownsville. It is a MUST!
