The first time I went to the Mill Restaurant would also be my last. Asbsolutely horrible service, as seems to be the theme of all the other reviews.
Me and a freind had to wait an extremely long time to be seated, for our waiter to show up and take our order, and for our drinks to arrive. And that was nothing compared to the amount of time we had to wait for our food.
No explanation was offered for their lateness and certainly not an apology. I would have understood it if they had been extremely busy or shorthanded (they were not). I decided not to complain since this was my first time at this particular restaurant and thought they might be having an off night.
Now that I have read the other negative reviews, I am glad I never gave this restaurant a second chance.
What keeps the customers coming back is not only good food but good service. A lesson that the management at the Mill should seriously consider.
Its sad to think that there was so much money spent to build out this barn facade. It is clearly evident from my experience along with many other postings here that the management or owners are not keeping their eye on the ball at all. Employees are not trained in what to say, what not to say, food is so mediocre and the list goes on and on.
Its hard to put your finger on the experience at The Mill. You just have to go and experience how underwhelming it is. It'll probably be bulldozed and a strip mall will replace it in a year or so.
When the restaurant first opened the food was great. We ate here for our anniversary and the food was sent to us cold and the shrimp in wine sauce was horrible. Luckily I gave my wife a great gift and allowed her to pick the place. What happened guys?
The Mill serves what I think is the best burger in the Valley. A burger with swiss cheese, ham, mushrooms and broccoli may not sound appealing, but rest assured, it'll have you comming back. The service is above average but the wait is a bit much. Overall a great place for Dinner, just expect to be there longer than average.
I love going there. There is this plate I love and I would recommend it. It is called Tampico Spud. Personally, the people working there had always treated me with a lot of courtesy and respect. If there is something I don't like, they quickly fix it.
This restaurant seriously needs to evauluate their menu. The concept of the building and the ambiance is nice and executed well. However, you go to a restaurant to eat and their food does not provide a nice memorable experience to the your palate. They should try downsizing the menu to concentrate on quality not quantity. I would not recommend this restaurant.
