We had lunch on the second floor, with a view overlooking the fishing boats, which I find much more interesting than flat ocean with distant tankers. Our first experience of soft-shell crab (!), which was delightful, except the breading could have been finer of texture and more delicately seasoned. The fresh oysters were indeed, and had no sand, but they needed to keep them up out of the ice they were not served actually in the shells. Salad bar was indifferent, but adequate. They have a hard time managing the service to the upper floor everybody uses the same stair. And I think they charge extra for the view but it was worth it to me.
The only thing this place has going for it is a great harbor view. If the service and food were not bad enough, they had to insult you with ther prices. I have a 3 strike rule with most eating establishments. This one has been the worst time after time.If it was not a tourist destination I dont think they would be in business very long.
This restaurant has fabulous seafood! The service is friendly and very good. The Amberjack with Pico de gallo is marvelous! Stop in & enjoy.
And for dessert try the Bread Pudding. I kid you not, I've never cared for bread pudding, but I love it there!
