Landry's Seafood House
A restored quarters barge turned into a floating restaurant that offers an array of fresh seafood selections, such entrees as baked flounder fillet in lemon-pepper sauce, and a combination plate of broiled fish, shrimp, oysters, and scallops, all served daily for lunch and dinner in a light, lively, and casual atmosphere.
A great place! We waited to be seat for 10 mins but after that, the staff was AMAZING! The manager was very helpful and talked to us and kept us laughing as well as our server. Food was AMAZING and my daughter loved it too. This is the place to go if you ever want good foos and dont care for the price. We will definety visit this place when we go back.
Last night we ate there for a 2nd time giving Landry s a second chance because the first time was a horrible experience, well last night was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The table across from us got seated after us and they left before we even got our salad and we were a party of 2. My waitress didn t even know what beer they had, my husband asked for a beer he had last time and she said they didn t carry it. My cocktail was empty and not once did the waitress ask if I wanted a refill. It took an hour and a half to even get our food and my husbands steak was suppose to be med rare and it came out well done. By the time we got our food we were not hungry anymore and asked for the check. We will never go back worst experience ever!
We ate there last night, and the service was terrible, and the food was terrible for the price. I ordered the steak, and my date had the shrimp. The steak was actually decent, but it only came with a salad, and a very small potato. My dates shrimp were terribly rubbery and over cooked. The waitress brought our bread really late, and didnt refill our drinks with any bit of timeliness. This would have been forgivable if they were swamped, which they werent. Joe's crab shack is on the next T head over. I would suggest going there. I will never return to Landry's.
Compared to Landry's, San Antonio and Landry's, Las Vegas, this place is about a 2 on a scale of 10. We were dining mid afternoon and there were few diners. Service was slow, food was cold, and tasteless. How can a chain have such a low class unit?
