Rude people work at this Red Lobster so go at your own risk. My family and I want to RL for lunch today. Nothing went right, we should have left after having to call out for a hostess to seat us. 1.) We finally got seated only to wait 15 min. for waitstaff. 2.) Manager was called on for an explaination of no waitstaff. Only an apology was given and he left. 3.) We finally got our salad...ate some and then the waitress came by to pick up salad plates. She asked my husband if he was done with his salad for her to take the plate and he told her he wasn t and she left. We got our lunch dishes, the waitress picked up my husbands salad plate and asked if he was done or did you want to lick the plate clean? As she pick it up I said That was rude . All she did was glance at me and kept walking. My husband told me to forget it and eat. If I could rate no stars I would.

We had been craving Calamari for weeks. What better place to get good Calamari than a seafood restaurant???...OR SO WE THOUGHT! It was tough. It was like chewing rubber bands. We tried several pieces hoping the first one was just a fluke...NOPE!! Rubber bands, all of them. Threw the plate out. We ordered take out and did not not feel like going back out in the rain to return it... Tough Calamari means old Calamari. Will not go back

The last time I went to Red Lobster I loved the lunch that I had. The service was excellent and the food was so fresh. I am going back today.

We went to the Red Lobster to celebrate an occasion last night. The restaraunt was not busy, but the waitress rushed us through the meal at lighetening speed. I hadnt even finished my dinner when she was asking what we wanted for dessert. Then she returned and stood over me while I chose from the dessert menu. I was still chewing on my dinner and didnt seem to have time to relax between courses. She then brought the bill when I was still eating dessert. I didnt get a chance to order a coffee or anything. We were there just 45 minutes. This was not a relaxing experience as well as the chicken breast was very dry. Wont be going back.

If I could give this place no stars, I would. My girlfriend and I ate at two separate Red Lobsters since we have been in San Antonio. Both times we had gotten sick from eating the food. I don't know if it was because we were black or what but we had gotten sick. This last time we were eating we could see several waiters and waitresses watching us eat our food. The whole Red Lobster experience was very suspicious so be careful if you plan on eating at a Red Lobster in SA, Tx.

We went to the one on 410 by Bandera Rd for lunch. We noticed a big sign hanging off the building - new lunch specials $6.99. Well that's a load of crab-poop. They had two things on the lunch menu that were that price, everything else was at least $8.75 and up. Seems like they are scaling down on the portions too. Well I had the fried shrimp and the fried fish - are you kidding me - I get bigger popcorn shrimp at Sonic. Fish had no flavor and was greasy..two of ate lunch and it was just over $30. Not money well spent, bud did fall for the advertisement outside....guess i am a sucker. I remember when this place was THE place to go eat maybe 15 years ago. They have really cheapened their ingredients/seafood. Seems like it's probably from overseas where it's cheap...not really much flavor. I guess they like most large chains are turning to asia for cheap, processed seafood - such a shame.

Went there on my wedding anniversary last year and the catfish was absolutely the worst I have ever had. I eat catfish a lot. They do have really good biscuits that they bring out as an appetizer.

We we celebrating a birthday in the crowd of 15 and called to place our reservation as the advertisement says they accept Reservation- NOT. They made us wait for an hour so we left. The what was suppose to be a nice dinner, turned out to be upsetting. They assured us that it would not be long-- I do not know What they consider long- but if you plan on having a big get together with friends for Dinner- DO NOT HAVE IT A RED LOBSTER

New England Lobster Bake needs work
By ARNOLD, 7/25/06
I ordered this dish but did not get any corn and found it was cooked with green and yellow peppers - this degraded the flavor of the other vegetables. I much prefer the Lobster Chop dish they took off the menu.
