Food is OK. I guess this is the in place. Most customers enjoying cold beer. Lots of motorcycles. Can t see 5 stars for the food though.

Friendly atmosphere and good music, I highly recommend the crispy chicken sandwich. My husband unfortunately chose the beef burger and was violently ill during the night with horrendous stomach cramps. We know it was the beef burger as he didnt eat anything else. I am also sure however that this was an isolated incident, as other reviews rate this place well.

Great food at Spechts... Chickn'n Dumplings was great! ... beautiful ride out there, and nice atmosphere upon arrival!

A friend told me about Spechts some time ago. I didn't think about it much untill I came across these reviews. As I read them I remember thinking that no place could be this bad and still be in business. Curiosity aroused I decided to see for myself. Never have I been more pleasantly supprised! To start with the people there were all so friendly. Kate, the owner, came by my table sat for awhile answered all my questions about the resturant and its history- made me feel very much at home. Miles, the new manager, introduced himself , thanked me for comming in. We talked for a minute then Liz came to take my order. Miles recomended the steak and shrimp so that's what I had and it was delicious! They had a guy named Jim Isaacks playing that night he's really really good and alot of fun. I've been back several times and its always the same - Delicious food Friendly people and Great entertainment Anyway I'm sure its true you can't keep everybody happy all the time but I'll bet you this place comes as close as any. Give Spechts a try. You may not fall in love like I have but your gonna want to go steady

Fantastic old place. Basic food prepared very well and local talent playing music each evening. The atmosphere is relaxing and great for the entire family!
