Samuri Sushi Restaurant, San Antonio

First let me start off by saying that I am originally from Corpus Christi and now reside in DFW. I visit my best childhood friend in S.A. several times a year. Anytime that I am in town, we head straight to Samurai. This place fricken rocks my socks. The atmosphere is very mellow. The customer service is the same. No drama around. The spicy scallop roll is flavorful and silken in texture. Don't get me started on the other various rolls. Don't get me started...don't EVEN get me STARTED!!!! I have eaten at many and I do mean MANY sushi places in various cities of Texas and this place is friggin yummy and super consistent in quality and taste. I usually pay only HALF of what I'd pay for this type of sushi anywhere else. They also honor the weekday lunch specials on the weekends. Go to SAMURAI....you will thank my awesome review later!

My husband and I have recently acquired a new appreciation for sushi... we tried many different places before finding Samari Sushi... the service is excellent and the sushi is the best i have had... EVER! One of my favorite qualities of this restaurant is that IT DELIVERS!!!! It has a wonderful atmosphere is family oriented and inviting... if you want great sushi and great service this is the place for u!!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! best sushi i've ever had, bar none! My boyfriend eat here about twice a month... we have the sushi lovers card, and get it filled for a free sushi roll every month! the price is wonderful, the atmosphere is exquisite, and our favorite is the VOLCANO ROLL!!!! yummmmy! my personal favorite is the Samurai Tempura Roll and Lobster Roll, and he loves the spicy shrimp and Crazy Crab Roll! If you're looking for the best sushi, go to SAMURAI!!

Samuri Sushi is a welcome and unexpected surprise, with EXCELLENT sushi and a MARVELOUS selection of international beers and wine. We travel extensively for work and sample restaurants around the globe. I can safely recommend Samuri as the BEST sashimi, sushi I have ever enjoyed. We have been back weekly during our assignment here and the consistency is superb, service is very good, with friendly staff. HIGHLY recommend the Samuri!

WONDERFUL: service, sushi and atmosphere! My boyfriend and I come very often, happy hour is great and the Las Vegas Roll is Yummy!! We appreciate the quality and service we get here and the attention they give you makes you come back over and over. Worth the wait, Sunday we came by and it was only going to be 3, (sign said open at 4) ... tried Wasabi sushi off i-10, WORST choice we have made, we were asked to leave because we were Hispanic, yea!! Samuri is by far worth the wait and better than just 5 STARS!!! =)))

I recently moved here from the east and frankly its hard to find good sushi after experiencing the best in the east. However, this quaint little restaurant is a true find...a gem. The freshest sushi, great happy hour, wonderful staff and their prices are fair.

Ive tried quite a few sushi resturaunts around San Antonio, and this is the one I come back to every week. I love their rolls, and the staff is great and friendly. I recommend the las vegas roll, and a must everytime is the Dynamite roll extra spicy. Dynamite is a must, just try it!

I only went there for lunch, they were amazing! My favorite is sushi combo #1 and katsu bento. their price is really reasonable and you will be full!

Absolutely my favorite sushi restaurant in SA. Kim always has fresh fish, the hospitality is wonderful, and the atmosphere is quite relaxing. One of my favorite rolls has to be the seafood dynomite, I also love the Samurai baked salmon. The Miso soup is also wonderful as is their salad with ginger dressing. Also try the green tea ice cream, it looks like a retro rug in a cup, but it's fantastic!!
