I don t know what that Nathan guy is talking about. I have been to this particular ihop many times as I live on that side of town and enjoy shopping at the forum. I actually chose to drive the couple of extra miles to make it to this ihop rather then the one located in rolling oaks mall. As a regular. I have also had the waitress in question. I find it hard to believe rmthat she would give such poor service. Not the food. As thats not part of her. Control. But even if there was a mistake with the food. Her personality and genuine care would surely out weigh this. I m not saying there wasnt a mistake. But song let one slip up ruin your chance at a great dining establishment. With great service and good food.
One star is an overstatement. I just had the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. I went there with a few friends, we were sat in a section by ourselves which we thought would be good because we had the waitress to ourselves. First off, our waitress, Lindsay, could not get our order right and we had to repeat it to her numerous times, then had to go through the same thing when she asked how we wanted to split the check. Then we waited for over an hour to get our meals during which one of us had to leave the table to find her because every single glass at the table was empty and had been for a while. Then the food started coming out. This process took at least ten minutes during which we discovered that nearly half of what we ordered was either wrong or cold and needed to be fixed. As the plates were being distributed and then returned to the kitchen the waitress dropped some hash browns off of one of the plates (no big deal, I thought). By this time some of us were extremely frustrated and asked for the manager. The manager, Lupe, came out and seemed upset that we had called on him and when we explained what was going on he kept asking us what the problem was, and then asked us which one of us had thrown hash browns on the floor. He seemed unwilling to accept that anything was wrong and was very argumentative. by the time the majority of of were finally fed up with the experience and were trying to pay and leave, I finally got the soup I had ordered to go with my meal. The only positive in the whole situation was that another waitress from a different section named Alex came over and attempted to rectify what she could and apologized for things getting out of hand. We finally asked for our check so that we could leave and the brought us the check which was not split at all like we had asked and we were charged double for several items and some thing were put on the bill that weren t ordered at all. I will NEVER eat at that particular IHOP again and will do my best to avoid the rest of them as well.
Didn t know how to make the 1 star vanish. This was the worst IHOP we have ever entered and needless to say, we did not even stay. The manger was rude and acted as if we were bothering him by wanting a table. It was not very croweded at all, but after being ignored for quite sometime, we asked if we should sit ourselves. The manager mouthed something under his breath and with that, we told him we would take our business else where.
What a horrible restaurant. We ordered a sirloin tip meal, then were told they were out, then we reordered and were told they were out of broccoli, then we requested to speak to the manager, Lupe, who was about as friendly and hospitable as a dead fish and did nothing to make it right. The only ray of satisfaction was the little waitress Zoe who was genuine with her concern and trying to please. . I will never again come to this
Maybe i should have read the reviews before going to the IHOP on Agora Pky .Everything was fine untill the bread was brought out , and we had to ask for that twice, both pices were frozen in the middle . You're tip is based on the service,regardless of who servers you , from the kitchen ,to the table ,to out the door. Everyone wants what they pay for. Don't you? Oh yea little things turn in to big things , I did pay for the meal and left a tip. Everyone can be wrong.
The Ihop in the forum is horrible. The waitress we requested was horrible. She gave out free pancakes and then later on didn't tell the cashier it was free. She brought out the wrong drinks and she gave them to us anyways. Then when we went to pay my freind had to pay 30$ over for other peoples meals. The weekend before we saw a mouse run across the walkway.
We have always received good food and customer service from this IHOP. hmm Maybe you need to have made it past the third grade in school, an IQ of at least 50 & a minimum of 10 teeth to realize that. Oh, and putting roaches in your food to get out of paying the bill is in poor taste.
Let me start off by saying this was the only ihop that I wuld go to because all the other ihop has bad service on the northeast side of town. Well on this day I went to ihop it was me and my husband and his two nephews one of his nephews ordered a strawberry crape he had a dead roach in his food. I called the waitressover and she was grossed out and she didn't know what to say she kept saying over and over im sorry im so sorry she said yall will not have to pay for this meal at all at this time the manager that was on duty was busy when he was done he walked passed our table, I stopped him and let him know what was going on and he told me oh ok well you can pay 50% of your bill. Well by this time everybody was grossed out no one ate there food we got up and left I told himm that the waitress had already told us we wasn't going to have to pay for anything he said she can't make that call! He was really upset and was mad at us for what I will never know but they do not have to worry about me to come back there ever! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! oh and NO I didn't pay for none of the bill!
