China Garden #1, San Antonio

I am very well pleased with China Garden we had a great time. We had a private dinning for my sisters birthday we had so much fun and enjoyed their company in the dinner. I would recommend China Garden because they were really nice and attentive all the way!

Love the delivery here! Even if I order soup everything comes hot and fresh. The driver is always so very polite and ordering by phone is so convenient. Thanks for making dinner a little bit easier!

We called to place an order and were rudely treated. The phone girl spoke to us like we were 3 years old, and then abruptly put us on hold for seemingly no reason. Then A different girl answered the phone and asked what we wanted. When we told her we were trying to place an order for delivery she immediatly put us on hold again. I hung up, and they called back. I told them I didn't want to order anymore and hung up again. She called back AGAIN and was very rude to me about them being busy and I need to learn patience then hung up on ME. I will never give this restaurant buisness again and I urge everyone to steer clear of this sorry establishment.

My husband and I purchased a groupon for China Garden, we both have never been there before and wanted to give it a try. When we arrived ( at noon, when they open) and walked in, a worker looked suprised that several people were coming into the restaurant. The restaurant had a strange odor in the air. The restaurant was very cold (winter season) and we overheard 2 couples commenting how cold it was. It took us about 10 mins. to get our drinks and a menu. The next 20 minutes we kept noticing a waiter asking other couples what they wanted to order and then go away and come back to them and inform them that the item they wanted wasn't available today. This happened to two different couples. After waiting the 20 minutes and no one asked us what we wanted to order, we dediced to leave. We will be contacting Groupon to get our money back on this terrible deal!

I have ordered from China Garden everal times now and they have gotten it here to my office VERY quick and the food has been fresh everytime as well as it tasting good.

Bad food horrible service..You would enjoy the fast food chinese drive in better..It was cold, tasteless,and they forgot 2 out of the 4 things I ordered...when I called to tell them they said they were sorry but did not do anyting about it....Complete waste of time..

I ordered Beef & Broccoli for delivery. The beef was CHEWY and CHUNKY; it wasn't thinly sliced like at most Chinese places. There was hardly any broccoli and it was covered in RUNNY sauce that had no thickness to it and no taste. The only thing I liked was the egg roll. Even the rice wasn't cooked right. Waste of money!
