Rosario's

Description

Located in the heart of Southtown, Rosario's is packed every night. It can pack in even more now that they are in a larger (but just as lively) location just a block from where the restaurant used to be. Sip on a perfectly crafted frozen Margarita as you enjoy enchiladas, carne guisada, pork tips and so much more. Do not miss Rosario's on Friday nights, when it offers entertainment by some of the best bands in South Texas. Get there early to snag a table and enjoy dinner, then prepare to dance yourself silly.

Superb Enchiladas
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/15/07
Rosario's has the best Enchiladas with white wine sauce, ever! You want to savor each and every bite. Prices are excellent especially during the lunch hours. Always a nice crowd, so you know the food must be great! Great ambiance! A must when visiting SATX!!

I LOVE Rosario's!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/9/07
I lived in San Antonio for 5 years and went to Rosario's every chance I got. I was never disppointed. The food is WONDERFUL! The only (slight) drawback is that it can get pretty loud in there. It's a must visit when in SA-town!

An overrated tourist trap for people who consider Taco Bell Mexican food. The music is always blasting out your ear drums. The place is a joke in SA but the tourists fall for the suppossed atmosphere of the dive which consists of soggy enchiladas, undercooked tacos, salsa with a dead fly in it, and very weak drinks. Save yourself the trouble and go get real Mexican food at El Mirador. This place will make you puke!

I Loved It!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/10/07
I had the cheese enchiladas and they were great! My husband had chicken fajitas and missed his sour cream and cheese, but the flavor was great. Highly recommend.

Yummy to tha tummy!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/6/07
Our daste night was spent at Rosaris first, with a big helping of Saviche'(??) yyummy, i liked a lot, but the salsa stole my heart. The margarits were delightful. I dont like a lot of people and crowds, but it is nice to run into old friends in Rosarios. We also ate oysters which were simply delish and had cocktails at the Atunar, which is owned by the same person. I loved it, the lounge upstairs and the cute seating areas, very cozy and relaxing, thank you for a lovely Date Night.!!!! Sincerely, Katie and Daniel Martinez

Tex-mex is not Mexican
By RyanMan, 3/16/07
Yet again another heralded restaurant that is not truely Mexican. I guess they do Tex-Mex fairly well, but in San Antonio, it is hard to find true Mexican food.

Rosario's
By Jayntee, 2/20/07
Wonderful atmosphere, great food and service. Live bands on the weekends make this a great spot to hang out or be more formal. No bad times or days as even on crowded nights or times, you can hang out around the bar.
