Rosario's

Description

Located in the heart of Southtown, Rosario's is packed every night. It can pack in even more now that they are in a larger (but just as lively) location just a block from where the restaurant used to be. Sip on a perfectly crafted frozen Margarita as you enjoy enchiladas, carne guisada, pork tips and so much more. Do not miss Rosario's on Friday nights, when it offers entertainment by some of the best bands in South Texas. Get there early to snag a table and enjoy dinner, then prepare to dance yourself silly.

You can get more food for the price at Rolandos Taco House the tacos are so huge it's not even funny. Prepare to take plenty of left overs home with you:)

I went there for the first time last friday and they had a house band that played great dancing music. Drinks were reasonably priced and the people who worked there were friendly.

Do not like the way Aldaco's owner sticks her nose up in the air! Mi Tierra's owner stands by the counter and never greets anyone, either. No hospitality. The food could be a lot better, too. I'll have to try out Rosario's.

awesome food, great staff. the fish tacos are some of the best in town....tacos nortenos are also delicious. get there early on weekends, always a wait. call ahead and get your name on the list, gotta love that option. great location/atmosphere/margaritas yes a bit more expensive than other mexican food places but this food is worth it.

BEEN THERE ONCE AND WILL NOT GO BACK. YOU CAN FIND BETTER MEXICAN FOOD FOR A FRACTION OF THE PRICE IN THE SOUTHSIIDE! IT'S NOT AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD. I CAN BEST DESCRIBE IT AS AN OVERPRIZED TACO CABANA OR TACO BELL. MI TIERRA'S IS A BETTER OPTION.

It's a good place for a business lunch if you work downtown. If I am downtown on weekends, this is one of the places we go. Better than Riverwalk food and less expensive. Magaritias good. They have a good variety of plates.

Very good! Great margaritas. I recommend the green enchiladas or fish tacos. It's off the beaten path so not a tourist trap. Great traditional plates as well: lengua, tripas and sweetbread. Make sure you get queso and chorizo for an appetizer! Def one of the best in San Antonio!
