Rosario's, San Antonio

The previous review must have been written by someone from New York City. My husband and I eat at Rosario's everytime we are in San Antonio. We have never had bad service or bad food. Both have always been excellent. I am recommending it to some friends who have never been there. I know they will have a very enjoyable experience

Rosario's is not a place I would recommend to anybody I care about, the place is over price for the quality of food, Chips and salsa was the highlight of this adventure, the food was not to expectations for such a nice building and fancy decor you would expect excellent TEX/MEX Food but I was wrong. Our party consisted of 9 and we all ordered different dishes so that we could have a variety of choices to sample and its sad to say that only the refried beans and chip were the best. Food (fajitas) were over seasoned to the point of becoming dusty and sauces were blend tasted only like tomato sauce with onions and to top matters off the waiter could not properly communicate with his broken English and to make matters worst he wanted to tell me what I wanted to eat and would not address the male clients on our table he would direct the conversation to the females. I did call it to another waiter but he replied as if it was a joke. I therefore, would not recommend this restaurant to anybody. I would recommend TACO CABANA before I recommend this place...

My family & I was highly recommened this facility by the hotel where we were staying to celebrate our anniversary. The food was very tasty, but I think we could have had larger portions for the $ we paid. The fajitas for two was just that!.... couldn't make more than 2 fajitas..lol The drinks were excellent & the atmosphere was lively with a band performing starting @ 9pm. I'll give it another try upon another trip to San Antonio :)

We went there recently to give it another try, but I agree that Rosario's is over priced. I think you pay for the location. The food is average. We went to a Christmas party there a couple of years ago, and some of the food was really bad!

overpriced, clean area, nice art to look at not what I expected for Mexian food guess it is good for tourists not locals -local

Great Food. Best Mexican food I've ever had! Our server was great, the chips and salsa were amazing.

BAD BAD BAD!!!!!The food was horrible. The service was bad. The atmosphere like a rodeo. The tacos I ordered were undercooked. The salsa here sucks. The toritillas must have been frozen. The chips were stale. The waiter was sneezing on everyone's food as he delivered it. The bartender put Grenadine in my wife's margarita when she specifically asked for none. I bartended in Brazil for three years and have never seen such poorly made drinks. This cuisine, if that's what people here call it, sucks. Does anyone know a decent Mexican food joint? Someone told me Blanco Cafe.

Food was really good. Service was ok. The place looks terrible on the outside but the inside is updated and looks a lot better. Overall this is a good place to eat in San Antonio.

very nice and comfortable place. I like to go with my family at least 2 times a month.

The first time I walked in I wasn't that impressed but after the meal was finished I was looking forward to my next meal. I took an out of town friend and my husband and they were very impressed. The fish Vera Cruz was excellent!
