Lulus Bakery & Cafe, San Antonio

Lulu's is great! The service from our waitress Jennifer was superb The food was great especially the chicken fried steak and the cinnamon rolls. The atmosphere is friendly and homey with very reasonable prices. I would recommend Lulus to any one who wants a memorable meal in San Antonio.

saw man vs food we were in the area and had to try it. we had a small wait. place was packed, sat at the counter, service was alittle slow but worth the wait. our waitress jennifer was friendly and the atmosphere was great. ordered the short stack and we shared between the three of us. of course we had to try out the rolls so we took 3 home. one for the house and one for our coworkers. the guys i work with all had a piece some even had thirds and fourths, now they want me to get them some more. if your in the area try it out, just be warned it is a busy place and the wait will be worth it.

First trip to Lulu's and it was great. Only a short wait and we were taken to our table. We ordered Breakfeast Taco's and of course a Cinamon Roll. The food was excellent and our waitress Jennefer L .went out of her way to take care of our needs. We will be back again.

Lulu's was a really good place to eat and hang out.The food was amazing!! You would have to be a little loopy to think that the survers were mean.The lady's that surved my family names are Gini and Crystal they were the nicest ever. The service was slow but it was a busy day.Some people think that the cinibun is small but its not!!!!!! IT IS FIRST COME FIRST SURVE. So over all the food is great and it is a great family reasturaunt.

Cinnamon roll was decent, definintely huge but not the best one I have ever had. Service was hideous, very rude people. They also have a 2 roll limit per party/customer. Place was very dirty with a ton of flies everywhere. Would encourage people to steer clear of this place. There are much better places to eat at then Lulu's in San Antonio.

Service was not so great. We waited at the table for over 10 minutes before we got our drinks ordered...the place was not busy, not even 1/2 full. The food was OK. I had the Chicken Fried Steak. It wasnt the best or the worst...it was just OK. The 3 lb cinnamon roll, was edible, but it didnt taste like a standard cinnamon roll, alot of the flavor was lost due to the size. Im sure it weighed 3 pounds but it wasnt as big as I thought it would be. At times it was just eating plain bread, no taste. I wouldnt go out of my way to eat there again or to get the cinnamon roll. It was just OK.

All, Just chill out, what did you expect when you first saw the place from the outside? if you look at the neighborhood and when you walk inside, it is what it is...San Antonio is an old town a lot of restaurants are the same, it's open 24/7 and a local spot just to grub and eat at a cheap price plain and simple! I and two of my cousins were just there over Fiesta San Antonio weekend food was great, portions were plentiful and the servers just down to earth and just real people, I am sure most of the visits from people are from people who follow man vs. food or another food program and look at those hosts? They are just regular people like us just find a great but cheap place to pig or grub out that's it! Right on ladies we were the three guys from California that you were talking to...remember...the one you scared the crap out of when you barked at the others for slacking lol! Had an awesome time ..Great Food, Great Company what else can you ask for!! See ya next year when we return for Fiesta!
