Demo's Greek Food
If you've never tried Greek food, Demo's is the place to start. Grab a classic gyro or a large Greek salad anything that suits you. If you're feeling a bit bold, try the sampler plate and get a taste of beef and chicken souvlaki, spanakopita, a gyro, a Greek salad and a tiropita. A live Greek band on Saturday nights and belly dancers on Wednesday nights add to the celebratory mood of this casual restaurant. Demo's is also located at 2501 North St Mary's Street, San Antonio, TX 78212; +1 210 732 7777; the Vineyard Shopping Center 1205 Loop 1604 and Blanco Rd. 235 (210)798-3840
Demo's is one of the better Greek choices on the cheap/easy end. Service is order, sit, then pickup your own food. Your plate is made after you order, so the wait for your food is longer than fast food. But the food itself it good and worth the wait. This is a good spot for lunch or a very casual dinner. If you have a little time it is a good alternative to fast food.
