Rudy's Seafood, San Antonio

This is a former service station location (seems like) turned into a seafood restaurant. The food, first of all, tastes great and you get good portions. Seating leaves a lot to be desired with people climbing over you while you're eating; not a place to sit down and enjoy your meal. Forget about restrooms. The owner (and I've spoken with him) is happy to be doing the business he's doing and has no desire to expand or open up other locations. If you're carrying-out, fine.

been going to rudy's since i was a kid. great food, great people, great prices. they won't let you down

taste good, big portions, friendly employees, clean, really taste good. try it and youll like it. Amazingly busy for its size.

Good food and great prices but the seating and parking on friday is just ridiculous, all the money they pull in. Can you fix the parking lot and just 1 bathroom for all customers, better acommendations would help business even more, I will go back again fish is delicus!

My mom knows several people that have been to this restaurant and recommend it. We just went today and loved it. The food was fresh, there was no fishy smell in the building, and the portion huge. I ordered the combo (2 fish, 2 oysters, 2 shrimp) but I received 2 monster sizes fish which looked like 5 pieces, about 6 oysters, and 5 shrimp. I wonder if it's always like this or if today they just had a good catch. The restaurant is small, but I noticed that a lot of people come in and take their meals to go.

The food is FANTASTIC, but beware during lent the place does get ridiculously packed.

They do give you a lot of food, and it is scalding hot for a very good price. But other than that there isn't anything to go out of your way for. The fish has little flavor, and they charge for extra condiments. The resturant itself is a ratty pit that I'd rather not visit again.

Rudys fish is the best! The best fish that i have ever had!

Rudy's seafood has the best fish and shrimp. My parents for many years would buy us food from Rudy's. Now my brothers and I buy it for our families and they love it!!! If you have never tried Rudy's you don't know what you are missing.
