food was bad it was like eating leftovers the place smelled bad to need to clean the mops more offen

I just had Taco Haven for the first time and I must say that I had a great time. The food was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. The Reggie's No. 1 breakfat special was amazing. The ranchera sauce on the eggs was spicier than I anticipated, but that was fine with me because I like hot stuff. You also really get ALOT for what you pay for. The Reggie's plate had huevos rancheros, barbacoa, papitas, refried beans, AND two small cheese quesadillas for only $7.95! Awesome! I was able to feed a family of 3 for less that $23.00. Excellent place indeed. I cannot wait to try their lunch and dinner and margaritas too. The waiting staff was great and the service was even better. Gotta try the sweet tea too if you go. Thank you very much for a great breakfast experience, Taco Haven!

Simple great place for breakfast!! machacado tacos are great as well their pork in red sauce!! gone their twice once by chance and the other cause i know were it is now!! mostly passing threw San Ant on my way north for my fellow highway riders easy to get to couple of blocks west off of the IH37, Carolina and Florida exit.

One of my favorte mexican restaurants to eat! I ♥LOVE♥ this place. It sounds funny, but my mom and i love the chips they serve. The Ralphies special is oh so good. Along with with their puffy chicken tacos and gorditas. Their tall ceilings and huge windows just gives the place a great vibe. I've been going here FOREVER and HIGHLY recommend this local's place.

Taco Haven Rules. I have bee eating here since at least the 2nd grade with my family. I love the food there. I highly recommend this returant to San Antonio. Especially the Cripsy Taco's They rule.

I have either worked or lived in just about every area of San Antonio so likewise I have been able to sample restaurants from all over the city also. Taco Haven is right up there with any of them. I drive from beyond the Live Oak / Universal City area for the Morcilla tacos alone.They are the best I've had anywhere by far. Every trip there has been outstanding as far as the food and service.

Well read the previous 10 reviews and jumped in car to go eat here. Once I got there I thought to myself what a sweet place, it was really nice. I ordered enchiladas and my husband ordered the mexican steak platter. Once we got the food he found a hair in his rice and then we fought a fly the whole time we tried to eat. Needless to say they replaced the rice but didn't offer a discount like anywhere else would have so we won't be going back.

Just moved into the neighborhood and really love this place. The service makes you feel welcome and the food is outstanding.

I thought the food was very good. as for kevin , who bit about the potatoes in the meat tacos. it is not to stretch the food...mexicans put potatoes to give it flavor. that has been done for decades my grandma and her mom and her mom did it that WAY. u dont know what mexican cooking is........go to ur taco bell !!!! i will tell my friends about this place.... taco haven u need to sell tee- shirts....i'd buy several...great place......robert m irving,tx
