El Rafa's Cafe, San Antonio

I could not believe the comment Ms. Tovar gave....my experience with the waitress and all personel has been wonderful we feel like family when we go to your resturant. I have also seen the waitress cater to everyone not only MEN but I am also a woman I think I would also give a little more smiles to men customers since they seem to tip a little more then women. My family goes at least two to three times a week and the food is wonderful and service excellent.........please do not change the family atmosphere with your waitress for one out maybe hundred customers that feel right at home when eating at your restuarant. I am so happy with everything you offer in your establishment and I hope that you will continue to have the same wonderful family atmosphere and service to everyone. Thanks

The place is good and the give your food in a flash, theres is no other place in the world like it. The people there all know each other and they make the place more peaceful.

My visiting daughter picked El Rafa's Cafe for dinner last night and we were super-pleased. On a Monday evening by the time we left at 7 it was getting towards full, and everybody else seemed to know each other. Lucky locals! Three of us had the Rafa special (two white cheese enchiladas, carne guisada, rice, one crispy taco, one chalupa), the carne asada plate and the enchiladas verdes plate. All excellent. The green sauce on the enchiladas verdes is the best we've ever had anywhere. Carne guisada was lean and tender. Carne asada was perfectly cooked. Everything was very flavorful. You choose corn or flour tortillas for the table--although the flour tortillas are locally famous, last night we had the corn tortillas, which were delicious, tender and extra-large. Service is quick and very pleasant. Decor is plain and clean, no kitsch, with red and gold walls. Groups of any size can easily rearrange the tables for four. Great food, great prices! Be sure to check the board on the wall or the back of the paper menu by the cash register up front for the daily special--some of those dishes aren't on the main menu. M-Sat 7 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sun. 7 a.m.-4 p.m.

la comida es excelente el servicio de las meseras es perfecto el estacionamiento es grande y te sirven la comida rapido y has de cuenta que estas en tu casa por que es comida como hecha en casa y el precio es rasonable mi familia no sale de el rafas les encanta comer alli y ami tambien
