Boudro's on the River Walk, San Antonio

It was OK... food was ok my main thing that I hated was if your planning on a romantic dinner this is NOT the place! It was so noisy very enclosed so your pretty much trying to talk over everyone else. The resturant was nice in the inside and outside. Another thing for the price might as well go to like Mortons or Ruth Chris for good expensive food.

Food and service were excellent. Great place for a date.

WAY overpriced - and overrated! The food was mediocre. I had to add a lot of salt to the blackened fish to make it taste halfway decent. Our waiter showed visible annoyance that we didn't order expensive cocktails. I felt taken. I don't recommend.

During my families Xmas trip to Texas we tried to visit 3 different restaurants everyday that had good reviews and location - we stumbled on Boudro's because Xmas Eve became VERY crowded on the Riverwalk and other restaurants overbooking or lack of it made finding a dining place very hard. We actually got to sit outside (as we wanted). They have lovely poncho/blankets on the chairs in case you get chilly. Loved that. We had cocktails and appetizers. Delicious. Ordered the made at tableside guacamole. It was the best I've tasted (other than my own homemade). My 19 yr. old son got a kick out of having his first cocktail - I don't advocate this on a regular basis, but if the guardian orders a drink and gives it to the minor - it's legal. This was just a vacation treat and the waitress was nice enough not to make us feel irresponsible or silly. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

This is the best place on the riverwalk for food other than Mexican. My husband and I both ordered the sirloin filet...yum! I was so great that you cannot stop eating even when your so full! It is laid upon a pile of shoestring fries that are drizzled in an olive oil based mixture that is to die for. I recommend this place over and over. Try a prickly pear margarita...or 2 or 3!

Boudro's is an excellent place to eat! The wait staff is professional, and well trained. This is not the type of place that just hires anyone to wait tables. It is a very respectable establishment. Make sure to try the Guacamole that is made right at your tableside! It is wonderful. Also, the prickly pear margarita is very tasty! This is a place that is a departure from the normal every-day things that are served at restaurants. If you are in the mood for something different, and amazing...go to Boudro's. This is by far the best food we had on our trip to San Antonio. We would have eaten here every day if we could have.

Superior. The food and the service, the best! It was cold the evening we were there, the waiter brought us thick blankets.... we sat outside, watched the ducks and the boats on the water. There were fires to keep us warm. All very romantic and comforting.

I had read very many good reviews of Budros, so I decided to try, even though I never eat at restaurants on the river, (they are never any good). It was alright but for the price, I expected a lot more...their drinks were very good though.

It's always fun to be down on the Riverwalk in San Antonio, and Boudro's has to be one of the best. The steaks and fish are not very good, but the pork tenderloin is marvelous. Service is exceptional, and so is the atmosphere.

Amazing! Incredible service! The best waitress I have ever had in San Antonio. Food was delicious; the party of 10 I went with was very satisfied with everything from appetizers to desert. Can't wait to go back!
