Johnny's Mexican Restaurant, San Antonio

First time going to Johnny's, and it was ok. Service was slow, this was during lunch around twelve and it was not busy at all, I expected just a bit faster service than what we received. I had their regular hamburger just lettuce, tomato, and the patty nothing else. No mayo, mustard, pickles, nothing, I was disappointed. There prices are a bit higher than expected, for being a Mexican restaurant. One thing that I did notice is that they charge for everything and I mean everything. Mediocre service, with slow table service, and just ok food is the reason I gave this place three stars, and this will definitely be the first and last time I come here.

Very unimpressed. Went to Johnny's based on the other two reviews. Food was mediocre at best. Ordered Johnny's combos #2 and #3. Would recommend Perla Tacqueria on Rittiman instead for GOOD Mexican food.

Very good good! I went there this Labor Day weekend, and it was great! I had their sweet tea and it was soooooo good! I also had their chips & queso which was FANTASTIC! To eat I had the Carne Asada taco! I would make a trip from Houston to San Antonio anytime, just to eat there again!

The food is great I am so ready to come back, Thank you Johnnys for the great food and service.
