Mexican Manhattan, San Antonio

WORST Mexican food that I've ever had! The service was wonderful and the margaritas delicious, but even that couldn't make up for how bad the food was!

We ended up here because our destination Iron Cactus was a long wait. Service was slow. Manager was on patio but didnt notice that we needed drink refills. Food however was pretty good except guac was bland. Plates were large. No suprise as this whole town is overweight. I suggest splitting an entre.

We had a Baby Shower at the Mexican Manhattan for my Daughter and her Husband on Feb 19, 2011. When I was planning, I called Kenneth and told him what my budget was and he put together a menu within my budget and by gosh it was the best I have ever seen. We had about 80 guest. All were served the best. The waitresses and Kenneth stayed on top of our needs. We never had to go to them to ask for more chairs, more tables, more of anything. They were ahead of us and made all accomodations as they saw needed. Beautiful weather especially overlooking the River Walk. OMGosh it was the best I have ever seen. Thank you Kenneth and your wait staff for doing such an incredible job for us. YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!

When in San Antonio it is a very nice stop for lunch outside on the Riverwalk. Price, service, and quality are all good and did I mention it is located on the Riverwalk? :)

I love this place...though I haven't been there in a while. I used to always go with my grandma when I was a little girl. Food was always good and fresh.

Best Enchiladas in the City, on the riverwalk...nice evening setting for a reasonable price

The atmosphere on the patio was nice, the service OK and the margaritas were great. But this is the worst Mexican food my family and I have ever had. The chips are too thick, the flavors were totally bland, and all of the items on the plate are covered in refried beans. Go for a drink, but skip the food!

The food isn't bad, but you can go to better places anywhere in the city and have some real Mexican food. The place is too overpriced for food that's just okay... The service is fine, and it is located with the riverwalk right in back, which is a nice evening setting, but other than that I wouldn't go...
