El Torreon Mexican Restaurant is located on Culebra near Woodlawn Lake. They failed their inspection this week with 31 demerits. Their violations included: •Food temperature issues: Cooked food was not properly chilled for storage. •Employees not washing hands between tasks. •Food left uncovered in the fridge. •The staff was told to clean floors, walls, equipment and especially the ventilation hoods over the stoves. The Metro Health inspector indicated they will let El Torreon take care of the issues on their own.

Really Bad Service They Need New Waiters .Drive Thru Is Especially Bad ! They charge you if you go thru the drive thru and take long and forget about you. more than once i been forgotten about and all i order is a lemonade 2.75 tdy they forgot about me and i honked and honked nobody came and whne someone finally notice me he didnt speak english and he called a lady and i told her by the way she had the leomonade now i told her if i had to pay the some price cuz i been waiting for a long time and they had forgotten about me she said nothing and when she turned she spilled the leomonade they sent the same guy who didnt speak english to give me the other lemonade and was going to charge me same price so i drove off instead in need of new staff bad i swear i hope those people get fired but the guy didnt know what was going on he seem nice they do have good food though.

My friends and I go there for lunch all the time and I guess we've been lucky because our servers have always been good. The food is very good and the prices are GREAT! Their chips and salsa is a real treat - warm chips and spicy salsa. We go every chance we get and we are never disappointed.

its true the food is really good especially the tacos but the wait staff is very bad they give you attitude and could never get an order right i recommend new waitresses

The breakfast is great and available all day! They serve alot and it's not expensive at all. Dinner is okay, but the breakfast is just so much better! The definate bad thing is the services, it sucks there, but the foods worth it.
