Koreana Restaurant, San Antonio

I love Koreana~ it reminds me of real korean cooking! Others in town are a little bit too Americanized for me, This one stays true to home. Its the only Korean resturant I've brought all my friends and family to. The sevice has never been bad and the staff is always friendly!

this place is great..i went with 4 other people who know their asian cuisine and we all sampled each others food and it was all delicious..we had a friendly waitress..and the set up of the place, although different, is nice

Currently this is the only Korean restaurant I go to in San Antonio. My other experiences with different Korean restaurants have been just terrible. I love the food here, and I'm not sure why other people are saying they experienced bad service, because although the waitstaff seems shy and at worst are mildly inattentive, I've never had a negative experience here!

The food is awesome. We go there quite often but the service every time we go stinks. Our drinks are always empty, I have to get the tea pitcher and fill our own drinks. When we ask for something they forget to bring it to us and we have to keep asking.

Say hello to great Korean food, and goodbye to excellent service. Koreana is my korean restaurant of choice, but the service is intolerably bad. The food is really good - the cooks are several middle aged authentic women who opened a restaurant next door to their church. The service seems to be some of the youth group from the church, unmotivated by anything (even consistent good tipping). Eat here once in a while, just don't go there on the days I eat there - help the service anyway you can.
