Las Canarias - Omni La Mansion, San Antonio

My husband and I were very impressed with our dining experience here. We stayed at the Omni where the restaurant was located and it was the best part of our stay at the Omni. The restaurant is located on the river walk so you get to enjoy the ambiance of the river walk. We chose to dine inside and enjoyed live music from a classical guitarist. The prices are competitive with other high end restaurants at about $20 to $30 a plate. The service here was perfect! Our waiter timed the dishes nicely and even recommended splitting a salad (good choice!). You can make any changes to your entree which shows good service. I also recommend trying one of their margaritas which are so good!! When we were there they were also offering a sampling of cheeses which we thought about, but really just wanted dinner. If you are looking for something nice, romantic, good food, delightful service, and a beautiful ambiance then this is the place is it! You will NOT be disappointed!

ABSOLUTE best hotel experience I have ever had, we were there on our honeymoon and the staff was amazing, as was everything else. No where else in San Antonio compares!

This place was great. I enjoyed the best meal of my life sitting across from my beautiful wife at a small table for two beside a window facing the riverwalk. It was very romantic and had such a great atmosphere that included excellent service and great food. The light sound of a guitar in the background ensured that every bit of that meal was perfect!!

love the atmosphere and aumbience of this place. the service was great and the food was excellent! a total fine dining experience. if you are ever on the riverwalk, this place is a must try.

I had really looked forward to this meal and it was such a letdown: soggy salad and tasteless soup. Even the cheese plate was poorly presented. Although the waitress was helful and charming when we were interacting, my friend and I often sat with dirty dishes in front of us. This was most definitely not worth the $150 we paid!

We, me and my wife, had dinner there about a month ago. We enjoyed everything. attention to details, food preparation, wine highly recommended, we rate it above comparable places as Fredreicks, Silo Badr

Clean, Service was excellent, Place settings were lovely. Food excellent. Portions are generous, cooked to perfection. Only thing that I might comment on was, that the appitizer I ordered did not come. They brought something else instead. I did not mention it as I enjoyed the one I did get. Now I have to go back and try it again, again, and again. Excellent menu choices. Excellent, I highly recommend this resturant.

We had dinner at Las Canarias and were completely blown away by the service and host staff. The food was better than anything else we had in San Antonio. This place is a must if you are visiting the city.
