Description

For some great food and drinks, and some terrific socializing Chuy's is the place. The food is exactly what diners expect from a local Tex-Mex restaurant, and the drinks are better than advertised. Chuy's hosts a crowded, cramped seeming interior but with a whimsical south-of-the-border flare. Parking can be an issue, and wait times can strain families, but the food is worth the wait, and you're sure to find interesting conversation from the throng at the bar. A down-to-earth place to see and be seen.

Chuy's can handle the basics like enchiladas, queso and tacos. Those can't be beat! What ever you do...don't try the more difficult dishes like the fish or carne guisada. It's just not their thing!

Chuy's has the best chili relleno that I've ever eaten bar none. I always make a point of going there once or twice when I'm in town visiting relatives.
