What a great place! The colors in the dining area are so engaging, looks like something from the Big Apple, and I had a tuna steak medium-rare that was so good that I saved some of it to try to reproduce it to impress my friends... Cool weather is coming back & my kids like to go to the Sand pit so Dad & I can have a moment of silence. & we take friends to get their picture with the mermaid in the lobby. Best kept secret in NW Houston.
We eat at the Hook more than once a month. I love the new place. It is so much nicer than the old location. I also like the new salad bar. Although a lot of their entres are fried, the food is very good. You can order some of the food grilled instead of fried. I like to order the Crab. It is a good deal!
Right around the corner from our house. Eat there at least once every 2 weeks. We like having our raw oysters so close. Never had a problem with food or service. Other than being a little dark on the inside, its a pretty good deal.
This place is pricey, however the service is usually very good. Their signature house salad has almost everything you can think a salad would have on it, it's also so large that you'll most likely not finish it. Almost all of their seafood is fried. They do however have a special everyday of the week, call and check on them. I know one day is all you can eat shrimp, but I'm not sure when. They also have an early bird special for 10% off, so check into that. I would recommend this restuarnt but be prepared to spend some money.
Went there because friends raved about it. It was over priced.
The night we went there were few wait staff it took us 3 hours for
complete service. The oysters were almost double the price per dozen compared to other seafood establishments. I won't be back.
