This popular restaurant with its no-frills decor and service does not offer much in terms of atmosphere but the food has an appeal of its own. The somewhat cramped interior makes family dining a bit difficult but it is still the perfect spot for anyone looking for a good meal at an affordable price. Warm up with one of many delicious soups or try the hot pot if you need something more substantial. You will be happy with just about any of the Vietnamese or Chinese selections.
We LOVE this restaurant and order delivery 2-3 times a month. The rice plates (grilled beef with an added fried egg), bun, and calamari are so delicious! And the delivery service is excellent. Would highly recommend!
Had Dinner with a Friend.
Food was OK.
After Dinner my Friend told me Not to Tip the Waiter. When I asked him Why Not, He went on to Tell me that the Waiter doesn't get to keep it.
Not Believing what I was hearing I called the Waiter over
to find out for myself.
Sure enough, the Waiter went on to tell us that he doesn't get to keep
Any of his Tips..
WTF... THE OWNER KEEPS ALL THE TIPS...
This is BEYOND GREED... And is HIGHLY ILLEGAL...
I will Never ... NEVER RETURN ...
And I hope someone DOES something about this Place.
Don't support these Greedy People.
How would u feel if your Boss took money out of your pockets by Keeping your TIPS????
Its a Vietnam Coast hideaway and should be hidden and never to be found. This place sucks. You come into a place thats say Vietnam Coast expecting it to have Vietnamese food. Well, it has 4 items that are Vietnamese and the rest are Thai or Chinese. I don't know who been reviewing this place and giving it 5 stars but apparently you don't know Vietnamese food like this place. Not only the whole kitchen and waitstaff are Haspanic the food has no traditional or Vietnamese flavors. I ordered in Vietnamese and the Spanish guy translate in English confusing me. Pho Tai (Beef Noodle Soup), well if you know Pho, this is not it. Pho Tai should never be cooked meat all the way through and should be served rare to medium rare. If you serving Pho you know that Pho Tai is not the only Pho. This is the worse of worse of all the Vietnamese wannabes in Houston. Buy the instant crap at one of the supermarket it taste better.
I USED TO LIKE THIS PLACE VERY MUCH (WHICH WAS 2 YEARS AGO ) ..
WHEN I WENT BACK THERE AGAIN .. EVERYLTHING WAS DIFFERENT, THE MENU WAS ONLY ONE PAGE. THERE ARE NOT MANY OPTIONS TO CHOOSE.
WAITER WAS NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL. TOSS THE MENU LIKE HE DID NOT WANT TO WORK ANYMORE...
I DO NOT NEED TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT.
ANOTHER THAT SHOCKED ME .........
I SAW TWO RATS COMING OUT FROM THE BATHROOM.
I WAS SO SCARED ... I CALLED THE WAITER AND TOLD HIM WHERE THE RAT WAS.. THE WAITER LOOKED AT THE RATS AND WENT ... OH DONT WORRY , ITS NOT GONNA COME NEAR YOU ! THEN HE WALKED AWAY LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED.
WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS THAT ??
WHAT KIND OF RESTAURANT IS THIS ?????
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE !
NEVER COME BACK.
DO NOT COME TO THIS RESTAURANT.
THIS IS THE PLACE WHERE THE RATS COME ....
THEY DONT SEEM TO CARE TO TAKE CARE OF THIS PROBLEMS AT ALL !!
This is just one of the many Pappas restaurants that prevail in Houston. No matter, the cuisine this family seems
to have the recipe for success. Soft lighting and 1920s brass rimmed decor give this Galleria area favorite a ...
Waiters are in white coats with embroidered nametags. Need I say more? The setting is luxurious and a bit intimidating
for anyone who is not a polished sophisticate, but perusing the celebrity caricatures lining the walls is certain to ...
Standing out like a large, neon sore thumb, this popular restaurant emulates something out of a 1940s mobster movie. The
art deco chrome exterior and the green neon sign will ensure that you do not have any difficulty finding ...
