I love Del Sol! I'm in love with their quesadillas & tacos! Their horchata, lemonada, and banana liquados are amazing! The wait staff have always been super friendly! Open late on Fri & Sats for the late night crowd and on those nights they always have a police officer and sometimes 2 at the front! You can even see the cooks whipping up the meals from the front of the building. Super Cheap, Great Service, Awesome Salsa, Food comes out Fast, Hot, and Delicious, annd its connected to their bakery! Its worth the trip!! :)
I love this place, the food is always as great, the people are friendly and you get great tasting food for a small price I have been going there for 10 years and it is one of my favorite late night restaurants to go to. If you love great mexican food i highly reccomend it
I have being going to Del Sol since it open.
The food is great, the staff friendly and they make you feel at home.
I take all my friends and family there when they come in from out of town.
No, not asked to write this review.
way overrated, the place is tiny and overcrowded. the menu items are expensive and the portions are small. seems that everything is cooked in the same plancha stove because the food tastes of burnt cooking oil. by far the worst aspect of this place is the horrible attitudes of the wait staff. they forget your order and look like they are constantly angry, the charge extra for chips and salsa.
I have been going to Taqueria Del Sol since 1984. (Technically, I have been going to the location since before 1984, but it was a Post Office in the past.) Taqueria Del Sol serves excellent beef tacos (including hard shell), tortas, alambres, milenesa steaks, charro beans, rice, guacamole, quesadillas and breakfast tacos. The salsa is excellent, but I would not say that it is the best in town. The refried beans are allright, but then I find refied beans to be a boring food.
The service is usually excellent.
Overall an excellent restaurant since 1984 maybe late 1983. You may have to travel through Suicide Circle to get here, but well worth the risk.
This place used to be good, now it is a nightmare. They are overpriced, if you want takeout they charge extra, if you want some salsa pay up some extra money. Their portions are ridiculous, they are super small! (and Im not a big eater). The waitstaff needs to work on their customer service and listening to orders. The 2 times I have been here they got my drink and my order wrong. . . it was also disgusting how my chicken fajitas tasted like FISH. I'm never going to del sol again.
