Ruggles Grill, Houston

Service was okay, food not so much. My salad was swimming in dressing. We order a bowl of plain pasta with a little butter for a child and I was charged $13.00! Ridiculous. It was more expensive than my fancy salad. I will not go back, it is not worth it.

Ruggles is one of those restaurants that is just always good. It never lets you down. I appreciate consistency. The food is delicous, the ambience is enjoyable and the staff is great!

Returned to Ruggles following 15 month closure. While elements of original Ruggles remain, something missing from new, "green" version of this restaurant. We applaud Bruce Molzan for his efforts, but would prefer he bring back past menu; faves missed. And many were attracted to RG for its amazing accompanying vegetables, now served "family style"--tough to share favorites! Didn't eat new accompaniments--too bland/weird. Will try again...

Best and freshest seafood in town, period, though a bit on the expensive side. That's not a bad thing to say for a restaurant chain. Plenty of choices on the menu, so take plenty of money in your wallet.

Standard fare in a pretty setting. Not spectacular, but dependable and convenient after you're worn out from shopping!

My sister and I went to Ruggles on a Sunday mid morning because she loves to listen to jazz.. I didnt want to go at first but Im so glad that I did. The food was soo good. The scones and the strawberry spread is to die for. The Sunday brunch drinks are good also. Cannot wait to go back there. Something really nice and special.
