Chinese Kitchen Restaurant, Waco

This place was horrible! I LOVE Chinese food but this had to be the worst Chinese food ever. They are WAY overpriced for the nast food they give you. I went through two different plate of which I ate none trying to find something in the buffet that might taste good! finally found the almond cookies that I know are store bought and ate a few of those paid and left. Oh and I forgot to mention that this place stunk, was very old and worn out and not very clean looking.

Don't go eat here! The food is not the best, and the owner is a complete liar and jerk. We called in an order when we got home the complete order was wrong, when I called in the owner said it was another person's order and he would replace the order when we came in next time since we live 45 minutes away. When I went to get my replacement the owner told me he does not replace the food, and that I was lieng he never said he would replace my order even though he took my name and my ticket the night he messed up our order. After the treatment I just recieved over his mistake I will NEVER go there again!

I must agree that the food is bland! I called in an order of Chicken with Broccoli, waited 10 minutes to pick it up and when I got back to work my food was luke warm and what little gravy there was tasted watery. I wouldnt have eaten it if I had not paid $10 for an entry with rice and a drink! Its true this place took a hit after they moved locations years ago but this is a new low

I love this place. We have been eating here for years and we will keep going for years to come. The food is awesome and the people are so nice. Try it. You won't regret it!

Be sure not to take you child under 3 years old that is tall because they will still charge you... On Mondays they have a lunch special for $5.19 they will still charge you regular price. I hate this restaurant, I will never return....

Average food: Most of the dishes I've had here are pretty bland tasting, the fried rice was pretty bad and everything was just not as good as I had at most other places. The sad thing is before they moved they were much better, now it's just a shadow of it's former self.

Some of the worst food I have ever eaten. Food is greasy and stale tasting. The staff seem friendly but the food sucks. They should pay people to eat there. I definitely would not return!

Okay, my experiences with Chinese Kitchen are good and bad. I love the quality of food, the amount of food they include in the cheap price for their take-out. I would NEVER eat in, cause that experience was truly bad, their food was dryer than the take-out food, and I got food poisoning after dining in. As to the service; there are some really nice staff, that always remember me when I come in cause I eat take-out all the time there. But, there's a mean guy that answers telephone orders that is rude and disrespectful. I hope this review helps in your decision to eat there or not.

ITS THE ONLY CHINESE FOOD I'LL EAT. THEY HAVE EXCELLENT FRIED RICE AND EGGROLLES. IVE TRIED OTHER CHINESE RESTAURANTS BUT THEY JUST DONT COMPARE. FOR THIS RESTAURANT TO BE OPEN FOR 10 PLUS YEARS NOW, THAT JUST SAYS ALOT.

This was the worst take out experience of my life. Who ever rated this place a 4? They lied.
