It was my husband and I 10 wedding anniversary, we had a table of 4 seating was quick it all went down hill from there. We were at a small table by the windows the table rocked so my husband stuck a piece of paper under the leg, then our waiter was the worse he kept looking at hisself in the window while taking our order food was awful cold bread was texas toast (really) The soup had 2 noodles the rest was broth. We waited for soda, kept running out very slow service he was more interested in looking at himself we waited 15 minutes for ck the manager finally got it for us he didnt offer us a comp dessert soda anything we asked if he was new and manager said no employed 6 months this was the worse anniversary dinner it will be memorable no dought they really dont care about the customer i felt they didnt care whether we ate there or not. I work at Days inn in town and always recommended your restaurant to our guest. I will never do this again Thanks for listening even though I dont expect to hear from management . Our visit was on Dec 20, at 6pm
This place had the worst service I have ever seen. We waited 20 minutes for a table even though they weren't busy. Then once we were seated, we were surrounded by dirty tables. We didn't get any silverware until 10 minutes after we were served our salads. I received a Very dirty fork, not water spots but actual food that I could not remove with a napkin. Another customer actually had to go to the kitchen to retrieve clean silverware for themselves and us. We also did not get our bread until after we finished our meal. The food was good, the salad was fresh and the menu looked nice. Service was so horrible I considered leaving several times but I stayed to see if they would make up for it with the food. I would never come back here again.
I have been there with my wife and the food is awesome. I am a fan of Olive Garden but I must say that this place IS an authentic Italian restaurant. I love the decor and the staff is really friendly. I am planning to go back with my wife and will continue to do so.
The food was excellent but management has a real attitude about helping their customers. I have had bariatric bypass surgery and can only eat small portions. I asked to order from the children's menu. I even provided a hospital card explaining the situation. No Exceptions; I can take the uneaten portion home. Folks, you cater to your customers' needs. Seniors and some individuals with unique needs such as mine cannot eat a full meal. I wasn't asking for my meal at half price, I was asking for a smaller portion. Having said all of that, the food was excellent. And I did take my uneaten portion home. Does the OWNER know about this situation or is it the hired help that has this attitude problem? My wife knows the owner and will contact her and find out. My markdown on service was not because of the waitstaff but because of management's attutude. Loved the roving violin player. Ambiance is great.
At one time this used to be my favorite restaurant in Cove. Since the new building the service has suffered and the food was aweful. We had a party of four and when the food was served mine and my daughters food was spoiled. The food had such an odor that it would make you gag to even eat it. It was soured cheese. They appologized after 20 minutes to fugure out what to do about it and didnt bother to help us with anything else, they just took the plates and didnt get us anything else. When the rest of my party was done eating they returned with our check like nothing was wrong. It was not the owner, it was a so called manager. The owner is very nice. They didnt even offer to pay for the dinner. They did subtract the two that was no good but still charged for the drinks. This is not the first incident just the most recent with in the past two weeks. The past three times I was in there the service was horrible and the bad part was they werent even busy.
Been there once will not go back.
That is an Italian want to be place.
They do not have a clue what Italian cooking is about.
The Pasta sauce tasted like a bad canned recipe.
Iam Italian,There are better imitaters out there than this place.
yuck, uninspired and really greasy and just gross. nothing new or interesting and service was terrible. we ordered an appetizer and never got it. just order a sandwich from here, that's the only thing they can do right.
Sometimes the salads are less than stellar, but the main dishes are always good. The Chicken Pizzaoila is especially fantastic. Way better than Olive Garden. This is real Italian food.
The decor is exactly what you would expect from a Mom & Pop type place. This is where you go when you want good food, not atmosphere.
