Kratiem Thai Cuisine
Kra-tiem is the Thai word for garlic. It is one of the main ingredients in Thai cuisine. Thai cuisine is known for its balance of four fundamental flavors in each dish or the overall meal - hot (spicy), sweet, salty and sour. Thai cuisine has been influenced by Chinese stir-fries and Indian curries while maintaining a unique taste of its own. Like Vietnamese food, Thai food is known for its enthusiastic use of fresh (rather than dried) herbs and spices as well as fish sauce. Instead of a single main course with side dishes found in Western cuisine, a Thai full meal typically consists of either a single dish or rice khao with many complementary dishes served concurrently.
I and my wife went to this restaurant first time yesterday. I love Thai food so I go to other Thai restaurants too and never been desapointed. However, the food in this restaurant was the worst I have ever eaten and terribly dissapointed. Red curry was so much diluted, tast like an half water and not hot at all. Pad Thai was such a small portion and shirimp was not fresh at all. This restaurant insults Thai food!!
I would love to share my great experience from the Thai restaurant where I
visited last weekend. I had the Chillian Seabass on the special menu. It's so awesome. I don't want to keep it only just myself. If you guys want to have the great memory with Thai food , I recommend to go to Kratiem Thai Restaurant. Moreover,it's such a pretty decoration inside. Food presentation and service is very good. It's the best Thai restaurant I have ever tried!!

This is one of the worst Thai restaurant in New Jersey I ever went to. The service was so slow not to mention they didn't have any customers while we were there. When the food come, it tasted terrible. I love Thai food so much and always like to try new restaurant, but at the end always go back to Wondee's at Hackensack. They're the best real authentic Thai food. Even the food at Bankok Garden can't compare to Wondee's. If you want the real Thai taste go to Wondee's. I love their food.
