The food is okay if you want to pay $$ for bland food. I will say it did come out hot, but that was about all. On the other hand the Owner s wife should keep her opinions to herself. We ordered some corn tortilla s. The waitress brought us flour tortilla s instead. The owner s wife comes by and asked if we needed anything. Let her know we ordered corn tortilla s. She says: Did you know that flour tortilla s are less fattening than corn? Since she felt the need to offend us we WON T be back and we will spread the word in this small town of how rude/ignorant she was.
Without a doubt, this is one of the best places to eat in bridgeport if you like tex mex The food is consistently awesome, the place is always immaculately clean, and they're so accommodating. I almost forgot about the prices: let's just say you definitely get your money's worth. go there . . . often . . . and bring friends.
After years of eating at Casa Torres every Friday night, and never even getting a hello from the owner,we decided to try Casillas in Bridgeport.WOW......what a wonderful place!Marty(the owner)greeted us like he had known us forever, his wife even came out and asked how the food was.We will not be patronizing Casa Torres anymore, the wait staff and margs are great there but we would rather go somewhere that our buisiness is appreciated
