Los Molcajetes, Fort Worth

I'd have to agree with the guy about the hostesses... they aren't very friendly or attentive. The foyer is cramped especially at lunch. However, the food is delicious and the chips and salsa are exceptional.

Food is okay but the service is lousy starting with the minute you walk in the door. The "ladies" at the front act like they could least care if you ever come back. The chips are great and the hot sauce (salsa) is okay although the best sauce they had (tomatillo) is no longer served. Casa Rita's down the road has them beat on quality of food (if not quantity).

At there today for lunch. Found 10 "take away" no parking signs in front of the restaurant. What is with this? I had to park far away and walk. Then I get there and we get no chips. My meal came and I asked the waitress if they stopped serving chips and she said "no" but the bus boy was behind. They brought the chips after I started the meal. The food was great but if they don't improve the service and remove the no parking signs, I will make less frequent visits.

The BEST mexican food in all of Fort Worth! The chips are thin and crispy and made fresh all day. The food is excellent. We have eaten quite a variety of the menu and have never had anything that wasn't great! They have another location in North Richland Hills / Bedford called Mi Pueblo and it is also EXCELLENT! We have friends that drive from Burleson to eat here. Also, the best Margaritas.

I come here alot for lunch. Never made it in for dinner since it is closer to work then home. Great chips and salsa and lunch menu. You can eat at the bar and watch sports or get a normal table. Not over crowded for lunch but also not empty, so you know it is good.

Best Mexican in town: 1st timers should get the Los Molcajetes Especial - Filling and great. Also try the frozen ritas!

They have absolutely wonderful red enchiladas! My daughter loves going there too! My best friend likes it because they have the "white girl" enchiladas (made with flour tortillas) for those that prefer them.

Food is adequate but their margaritas are EXCELLENT! You must have one of their margaritas if you ever eat there. Food is your typical Mexican fare.

It's a decent place to eat, but if you want really good authentic mexican food, you should try something like Abuelos or maybe Campo Verde. Getcha Pull !
