Double Daves is by far my favorite Pizza Buffet. Pizza Inn is just too crowded, as is CiCi's. Pizza Inn's high quality pizzas do give DD's a run for their money (CiCi's is roughly equal as far as pizzas go), but what truly sets DD apart from other Pizza joints are their heavenly Pizza Rolls, which are to DIE for...I wish the current owners knew that, because I really get annoyed those times when they don't keep churning out the pizza rolls when I visit. They're so popular there's usually a run on them, so you have to be quick and grab some when a fresh batch comes out. Dip them in marinara sauce or ranch dressing...Mmmm, so SO good. When I was in college at Texas A&M many moons ago, I actively patronized the DD locations in B/CS, and also the DD's in Austin off Guadalupe when I visited my UT friends. I was thus very happy when DD's first set up shop in Denton back in 2003-4 or so. Glad to see they're still going strong. Be warned, though, DD's is very popular with families, so there are indeed sometimes lots of children, comparable to CiCi's in that respect.
My UNT friend really likes their salad bar & pasta selections, too. I like the desert pizza after I've had my main course ;-)
