Cousin's Barbeque, Fort Worth

Consistently Great BBQ. Brisket, Ribs & Chicken are all absolutely great!

Moved to Fort Worth from Austin and tried desperately to find a replacement for my neighborhood Mexican restaurant. I found Cousins Pit Barbecue instead and I am more than satisfied. Make sure to get an order of extra crispy fries, and try a schooner of toot beer on tap. Only downside, closed on Sundays...

Food was great, service friendly, what more is there to say

Have eaten at two of the Cousins locations and both are consistantly the best BBQ in Texas! Brisket has great flavor and the sasuage is the best! Sauce it just right. A nice variety of side dishes and condiment bar. No wonder President's, movie stars, musicians, etc have eat there when in town and they have the pitures to prove it. Blows Angelo's away!

I've eaten alot of barbecue growin' up in Texas and I ain't never ate nuthin' like this in my life. The brisket is so tender it nearly melts in yo' mouth and when you throw on a little of their warm, homemade sauce... well that just makes you feel like you just lasted 8 seconds on Smokey the Bull. This is hands-down, best in Texas!!!

You may hear about those other two BBQ establishments being the best in Cowtown, but Cousins is truly the leader. The quality and consistency, as well as the friendliness of Cousins is wonderful at any of their restaurants. If it's out of your way to go their, it's worth it.

Once you start eating, you won't want to get up. The service & atmosphere prepare you for what you are about to chow down on. The price is very competitive. Ribs & chicken are my favorites.

If the jailer asked me what I would like for my final meal it would be Cousin's Pit B.B.Q.! The brisket, sausage, and salsds are awesome; you really can't go wrong with any of the plates. My family loves the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream to top off our dinner.

I moved to CA a while back and everytime I have visited FtW the first place I go is Cousin's. I grew up with them, they even supported my softball team when I was young. It is a very friendly and down home atmosphere unlike anything you will ever experience. They are the epitomy of Texas BBQ... No one else can compare. Their Brisket, sausage, chicken and pork surpass anything that one can come across. I actually crave their brisket and have had it sent to me in CA... good ole mom.... The employees were friendly and helpful in advising how to pack and send their culinary delights half way across the country. This is one place that finger lickin and sloppy eating is accepted and everyone is a friend.

My family has been frequenting Cousin's BBQ for many years. Excellent food, excellent service and friendly staff. Atmosphere is exactly what you expect from a Texas BBQ joint. I take my out-of-town visitors there every chance I get.
